Features:
- Needle bearing fulcrums minimize frictional losses at the shaft
- Caged bearing needles won't fall out of races even if rockers are removed from shaft
- Roller tip reduces side loading on the valves, increasing valve
guide life
- Hardened shims between rockers bodies and stands
- E918502 rockers can be converted to E918503 by simply moving shims from one side of rocker to the other
- Ball type adjusters allow rockers to be used with hydraulic or mechanical tappets
- 1.76 ratio high strength 7075-T6 aluminum rocker bodies feature a unique truss design for reduced deflection
- Heat treated, centerless ground 8620 steel shafts
- High strength one-piece aluminum stands are more rigid than multi-piece stands
- Stands feature end supports to help prevent shaft failure when running high load valve springs
- Stand end supports feature a retaining screw to prevent shafts from sliding left or right, even in the event of a shaft failure
- Retaining screws are much easier to remove than earlier design which used a long roll pin
- Recommended for street/strip cars with up to 650lb spring loads
- Recommended for drag race only cars with up to 750lb spring loads
- Maximum recommended valve lift of .800"
- Assemblies fit under most valve covers (baffles may require modification or removal)
- Rockers are shipped fully assembled and ready to bolt onto heads
- MADE IN THE USA
Notes:
- An oil restrictor (approximately 1/16" diameter orifice) in the cylinder head is recommended to prevent excess oil from gathering in the valve covers.
- The factory Ford sheet metal oil deflectors cannot be used with these rocker arms. Positive type valve seals are recommended.
- When running aluminum heads and/or a solid roller cam, studs (rather than bolts) are recommended to hold the assemblies to the heads.
